North Star
A five-stage pipeline: adapter, normalise, layout, geometry, render.
Adapters reconcile identity into a single graph model; layout computes positions; geometry resolves shape as pure functions shared by every backend; and the renderer — SVG, Canvas or WebGL — is the only stage that touches the output surface. Swapping it is one option, with no effect upstream.

Five stages from whatever you have to whatever you need to hand somebody. The only decision the consumer makes is at the ends — the middle picks itself.
01
Ingest
Mermaid · DOT · GraphML · JSON · LLM stream
An auto-detect adapter picks the parser. Mermaid matters more than it looks: it is the syntax language models emit naturally, so a model's diagram becomes a real, interactive graph.
02
Validate
Structured diagnostics with codes
Duplicate ids, orphan edges pointing at nothing, NaN weights — each with a code and a plain-English explanation. It is a public API, so it runs in your pipeline and not only in the demo.
03
Compute
26 algorithms · 19 layouts, client-side
Centrality, paths and flow, structure, trees and learning all run in the browser over the graph you already have, and the result drives colour, size and visibility directly.
04
Render
SVG · Canvas · WebGL, auto-routed
SVG while every node can be a DOM element, Canvas past a few thousand, WebGL past twenty. All three read the same geometry functions, so a halo is the same halo whichever drew it.
05
Deliver
PDF · PPTX · SVG · PNG · headless
Export with no dependencies at all — the PowerPoint writer is a hand-rolled OOXML encoder — plus server-side SVG and PNG from Node with no browser involved.
Playback
Algorithm steps are frame-deterministic: the same graph and the same seed produce the same animation every time. That is what makes playback usable for teaching and for regression testing, rather than only for a demo reel.
Free edition
The engine, all three renderers, every framework binding and the Admin UI are free to use in your own apps, commercial ones included. It is not open source. Paid tiers sit on top, and each includes the one before it — so nothing is taken away from you for starting free.

Properties of the layered pipeline.
01
Renderer auto-routing by workload
Renderer auto-routing means nobody has to know in advance whether this graph is a Canvas graph. The library measures the workload and picks.
02
Frame-deterministic algorithm playback
Algorithm steps are frame-deterministic, so the same graph and seed give the same animation every time — usable for teaching and for regression baselines, not only for demos.
03
Mermaid ingestion for model-emitted diagrams
Mermaid is the syntax language models emit naturally, so importing it is the path from asking for a diagram to having a real, interactive graph.
04
Headless SVG and PNG rendering from Node
The headless package renders SVG and PNG from Node with no browser, so the same code that draws in the page draws in a scheduled job.
